Tri-District Service Committees & Positions
Bridging The Gap Committee
Experience suggests that even though a soon-to-be released alcoholic may have been participating in an A.A. group or meeting inside a treatment setting, there is often anxiety about the transition to an A.A. group on the outside. Bridging the Gap volunteers provide a temporary contact to help ease newly-discharged members’ transition to outside A.A and help to get them started on the road to sobriety in their home community.
District 71
District 80
Each district responds to the needs of the members being discharged within their boundaries. The districts cooperate with each other to accommodate requests outside of their boundaries — and outside the area.
