DESCRIPTION:Taking place once every five years\, the A.A. International Convention marks the anniversary of Bill W.’s first meeting with Dr. Bob and the birth of Alcoholics Anonymous in 1935. A.A. members and their families and friends from around the globe attend the event. At the International Convention people attend meetings\, workshops\, dances and events. A highlight is the traditional flag ceremony to celebrate sobriety worldwide. Vancouver will welcome A.A. members from around the world for the 2025 International Convention. This will mark the 90th anniversary of the beginning of our Fellowship’s founding. The International Convention will take place from July 3 – 6\, 2025\, at the Vancouver Convention Centre and BC Place Stadium.

DESCRIPTION:“Secrets Women Don’t Share” – Hosted by Charlotte\, NC. \nVOLUNTEER SIGN-UP FORM\nONLINE REGISTRATION\nPRINT/MAIL REGISTRATION FORM \nThe Southeast Woman to Woman conference began as weekend workshops in California\, where members generously shared information and ideas. The first midwest Woman to Woman Seminar was held in Chicago\, Illinois in 1984. Over the years\, the event rotated throughout various locations in the midwest. Then in 1988\, spearheaded by Eugertha Mcleon\, a group of women from Harlem\, New York chartered a bus and attended that year’s workshop in Columbus\, Ohio. It was there that these women expressed a desire to hold a similar event on the east coast. The first Northeastern Woman to Woman Seminar was successfully held October 20-22\,1989 in Tarrytown\, NY. When Mcleon relocated to Richmond\, VA\, many women encouraged her to bring the phenomenal conference to the southeastern region. A committee was formed and the 1st Southeastern Woman to Woman Seminar was held September 27-29\, 1993 in Richmond\, VA. The rest is history. \nLocation: Hilton Charlotte University\nRESERVE YOUR ROOM\nThis year’s host location is a beautifully accommodating site in the Queen city. SUMMARY:27th Annual Southeast Woman to Woman Conference
DESCRIPTION:“Becoming A Better You” – Hosted by South Carolina. A conference for sober alcoholic women with Al-Anon participation. \nThe Southeast Woman to Woman conference began as weekend workshops in California\, where members generously shared information and ideas. The first midwest Woman to Woman Seminar was held in Chicago\, Illinois in 1984. Over the years\, the event rotated throughout various locations in the midwest. Then in 1988\, spearheaded by Eugertha Mcleon\, a group of women from Harlem\, New York chartered a bus and attended that year’s workshop in Columbus\, Ohio. It was there that these women expressed a desire to hold a similar event on the east coast.  \nThe first Northeastern Woman to Woman Seminar was successfully held October 20-22\,1989 in Tarrytown\, NY. When Mcleon relocated to Richmond\, VA\, many women encouraged her to bring the phenomenal conference to the southeastern region. A committee was formed and the 1st Southeastern Woman to Woman Seminar was held September 27-29\, 1993 in Richmond\, VA.
